Which browsers and phones work
What Lotdesk asks of a browser, and the two settings that quietly cause most trouble.
Lotdesk runs in the browser you already have. Use a current version of Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Edge, on a phone, a tablet or a computer. There is nothing to install and no account with a store.
What it needs from the browser:
- JavaScript switched on. The outbox is a small program running in the page. With it off, the forms still send straight to the book, but nothing waits for you when the signal is gone.
- Storage left alone. The outbox keeps unsent lots in the browser's own storage on the phone. If you clear a site's data, or use a private or incognito window, anything not yet sent can be lost: a private window keeps the outbox only until you close it. Use a normal window for a day at the lot.
- Photograph access. When you choose the photograph field, the browser asks whether it may use the camera or the photo library. Say yes.
- A date picker. The sale day and capture time use the browser's own date field. A very old browser shows a plain box; type the date as 2026-11-14.
If a page looks wrong, update the browser first, then reload the page. If it still looks wrong, tell us what you saw and which browser it was.
