Terms of service
Effective 2026-09-30.
1. The service
Lotdesk is provided by ALGD LTD, company number NI744090, 121 Glencam Road, Omagh, Tyrone, BT79 7HB, United Kingdom, contact support@algd.store. It is hosted software for an auction house's lot intake and catalogue: consignment records, lots, descriptions, condition notes, photographs, estimates and the export of a sale.
2. Your account and your records
You keep the records you write. One login belongs to one auction house and is not shared with anyone else; sign it in on as many phones as the house runs. You can take any sale out as a CSV at any time, and you can ask us to close the account and delete its records.
3. Photographs and the lot record
Photographs you attach to a lot are stored for the house and shown on the lot's own record. One photograph is capped at 3 MB. A lot record is visible to anyone with the house's login; the sample house's sale is public for demonstration.
4. Fees
$79/month for the auction house, billed monthly in advance by Stripe on its own checkout page. It does not vary with the number of lots, cataloguers or sales. Cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid month. See the refund policy.
5. Availability
The service is provided on a best-efforts basis; we do not commit to a level of availability in this version. What you write at the lot is kept on the phone as well as with us, so a lost connection does not lose the lot.
6. What the records are for
The catalogue, the descriptions and the estimates are the house's own professional work: they are not a valuation, not advice to a seller or a buyer, and the house remains responsible for what it prints and sells.
7. Acceptable use
Record only what the job needs about your vendors and your sale, and keep the vendor's details to yourself. Keep your password to yourself; everything recorded under your login is treated as the house's own.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we exclude liability for consequential loss โ including a sale not held or a vendor lost.
9. Termination
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend an account that is being used to break these terms, after telling you why.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland.
